Bremerton WA

Ok, so there’s not much to offer here in the way of co-op or local, but it has a park with camping close to the city (mosquitos included here).   We visited with family in Bremerton.  Then headed to Seattle by ferry.  Thanks to a family feeding the gulls, I was able to capture a few good shots.

About Co-op Traveler

The Co-op Traveler is for...folks that seek out local food, folks and fun. Our work is based on the premise that if there is a food co-op in a community, there must be some cool things going on there. We are traveling the country (and ultimately the world!) to experience these places and share them with you...so you can create your local adventure in these places too... We are food co-op geeks for sure...but we can't help it. We are big into great local food (we co-own LIFE Certified Organic Farm) and great local businesses (we co-own Nature's Crossroads seed company) and the local scene (we talk to many, love to hike, bike, kayak...). So we seek these places/things out wherever we go...
